WELCOME TO
Paws & Pedal
COASTLINES FOR COMEBACKS & BURNS WITHOUT BORDERS
One Man. One Dog. One Comeback.
Paws and Pedal is a slow, honest, coast-to-coast journey of recovery — one that starts in Seton and stretches to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, then pushes further still: around the entire UK coastline on three wheels and sheer purpose.
This is not just a ride. It’s a comeback.
A test of grit, grief, and what’s possible when you refuse to stay down.
It’s led by a burn survivor — and his dog Taco — on a mission to reclaim life after trauma and raise awareness for burn survivors in the UK and beyond.
The Journey – UK Coastlines for Comebacks Tour
We’ll roll through seaside towns and cities, stopping at pubs, cafés, and campsites to share the story, host micro-fundraisers, and connect with people on the ground. It’s slow, raw, and real-time — powered by purpose, resilience, and dog treats. This is for all those who have comeback from the darkness, from trauma and for those who have still to take that journey on.
But this is only the beginning.
The Long Road to Africa

The UK tour is the warm-up for the big one:
a 12,000-mile overland expedition from Cumbria to Cape Town.
We’ll cross 20+ countries, wild camp, and meet burn survivors across Africa — where access to treatment is still desperately limited. We’ll visit hospitals in places like Sierra Leone and Ghana, shining a light on stories too often left in the dark.

This is Burns Without Borders.
A journey across bodies, borders, and recovery.
Built on movement, advocacy, and radical honesty.
Follow the journey. Join the ride. Help us prove that healing doesn’t have to be quiet — sometimes, it roars.
